Automation Engineer(Heavy Scripting) Onsite (WFO), Bangalore, India Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in Automation Engineering, with a strong focus on infrastructure automation. Expert proficiency in Python for network automation, scripting, and application development. Extensive experience working with REST APIs for network device configuration, orchestration, and service integration. DevOps/CI/CD: Hands-on experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure or network code using industry-standard tools. Networking Fundamentals: Solid understanding of core networking concepts (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VPNs, Firewalls) and security principles Preferred Skills Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or GCP) automation. Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes. Experience with other IaC tools like Ansible or Terraform. Prior experience in a regulated industry, such as Medical Devices or Healthcare. Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of Software-Defined Wide Area Networking (SD-WAN) principles, architecture, and common vendor platforms. Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNP, JNCIP, Python-related certifications, or DevOps certifications).
