Automation Engineer(Heavy Scripting)Onsite (WFO), Bangalore, IndiaBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.5+ years of experience in Automation Engineering, with a strong focus on infrastructure automation.Expert proficiency in Python for network automation, scripting, and application development.Extensive experience working with REST APIs for network device configuration, orchestration, and service integration.DevOps/CI/CD: Hands-on experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure or network code using industry-standard tools.Networking Fundamentals: Solid understanding of core networking concepts (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VPNs, Firewalls) and security principlesPreferred SkillsExperience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or GCP) automation.Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.Experience with other IaC tools like Ansible or Terraform.Prior experience in a regulated industry, such as Medical Devices or Healthcare.Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of Software-Defined Wide Area Networking (SD-WAN) principles, architecture, and common vendor platforms.Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNP, JNCIP, Python-related certifications, or DevOps certifications).
