Cofounded by graduates from IIT KGP, DCE, and IIM A, Immersive Labz works on cutting-edge medical technology, specializing in creating immersive virtual reality experiences for medical professionals. Immersive Labz has been funded and backed by top Education institutes and other serial investors in India.
We have built India’s first human-size virtual human dissection table – Cadaviz. It addresses the biggest challenge in medical education around human anatomy and dissection study due to cadaver shortage.

We are looking for a Python Fullstack Developer who will be responsible for building high-performing, responsive web applications. An ideal candidate should be highly adept at writing clean, testable, and scalable code to develop back-end elements, integrate the front-end elements in the application, and manage the data interchange between the server and the users. The developer must have a basic understanding of front-end technologies and work in collaboration with front-end developers. Will also focus on database-related changes and improvements. The candidate will spend the majority of his time making application changes to improve database performance, availability, and reliability. Role has a balance of application development and knowledge of PostgreSQL. As such Python knowledge is absolutely required and deep PostgreSQL knowledge is equally important.
Responsibilities :
- Significant professional software engineering experience with Python and PostgreSQL in Mid/ large production environments.
- Demonstrated experience with Python Framework.
- Expert-level understanding of relational databases, SQL and query optimization techniques and demonstrated ability to both diagnose and prevent performance problems.
- Significant experience working in a distributed production environment
- Writing effective and scalable Python codes
- Programming Web Application development using javascript, type script, HTML/ CSS
- Designing and implementing robust applications
- Debugging applications to ensure low-latency and high-availability
- Integrating user-facing elements with server-side logic
- Writing APIs as per the backend business logic requirements
- Performance tuning, improvement, balancing, usability, automation
Key Requirements :
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or any closely related discipline
· Required Technology Stack: Python, Web Technologies, XML, HTML, CSS, PostgresSQL,React, Docker.
- Good knowledge on Odoo, Django, Flask or similar Python based frameworks
- Handson experience with SQL or similar Database concepts
- Familiarity with front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3 and React
- Good knowledge of development of ERP, CMS, LMS, etc. kind of application
- Familiarity with various testing tools.
- Basic understanding and use of project version control systems such as GIT etc..
- Web frameworks and RESTful APIs
- Familiarity with some ORM (Object Relational Mapper) libraries
- Strong communication, organizational and analytical skills
- Strong knowledge in aws services (lambda, ec2, s3, Rds,Redis, amazon cloud watch, SQS)
