JOB Description:Job Title: Data Engineer (Knowledge Graph & Semantic Data ) – Automotive IndustryLocation: GurgaonBudget -16 LPAType: Full-TimeExperience Level: Senior Engineer (4+ years)Job Description:We are seeking a highly skilled Knowledge Graph & Semantic Data Engineer to design,model, and implement semantic data structures and knowledge representation systems forenterprise-scale applications. The role requires deep knowledge of semantic web technologies,ontology modeling, RDF standards, and modern LLM pipeline integration.You will work with cross-functional and global teams to build knowledge graphs, semantic datapipelines, ontology frameworks, and data mapping models that support AI-driven reasoning,automation, and domain knowledge representation.Key Responsibilities:Design and model ontologies using RDF, OWL, SHACL and other semantic webstandards.Develop semantic data structures and ensure accurate RDF data modeling andserialization.Build and maintain knowledge graphs for business and technical domainrepresentation.Model linked data concepts using semantic relationships and ontology patterns.Develop and orchestrate LLM pipelines, including prompt engineering, preprocessing,fine-tuning, evaluation, and integration with knowledge graphs.Implement semantic data integration, mapping heterogeneous data sources to RDFframeworks.Use SPARQL for querying, transforming, and managing semantic datasets.Define and model schemas in serialization formats such as Turtle, JSON-LD, andRDF/XML.Work with ontology editors and RDF libraries to design and implement scalablesemantic systems.Support data ingestion pipelines that map relational and unstructured data into semanticformats.Collaborate with AI, data engineering, and software teams to enable semanticinteroperability across platforms.Required Skills & BackgroundGeneral KnowledgeStrong understanding of Semantic Web concepts (Linked Data, Ontologies).Expertise in ontology design and modeling (RDF, OWL, SHACL).Experience in knowledge graph engineering and semantic representation.Hands-on experience with RDF data modeling, triples, and graph-based data stores.Ability to design and integrate LLM pipelines into semantic frameworks.Experience in semantic data integration, mapping, and transformation.LanguagesRDF, OWL, SHACL (semantic data modeling)Turtle, JSON-LD, RDF/XML (serialization formats)Java and PythonSPARQL (query language for RDF data)Tools & FrameworksProtege – ontology editorRML, SPARQL-Generate – mapping relational and heterogeneous data to RDFJena, RDFLib – RDF processing librariesSoft SkillsStrong analytical and conceptual modeling abilitiesAbility to understand complex domain knowledge and convert it to semantic structuresExcellent communication and documentation skillsAbility to collaborate with AI/ML, data engineering, and platform teams
