Introduction:
ZADASTAR, a premier home and kitchen appliances brand from a 30-year-old BSE-listed company, seeks an experienced E-Commerce Sales Consultant to lead its online growth strategy. This role will focus on driving sales across marketplaces such as Amazon, Flipkart, JioMart, and Tata Cliq, alongside the brand’s direct website, The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of expertise in e-commerce sales, digital marketing, and online marketplace management, with a passion for building strong customer engagement and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
E-Commerce Strategy & Execution:
Develop and implement a robust e-commerce strategy that spans major marketplaces and the direct-to-consumer website. Leverage quick commerce platforms to expand the brand’s reach.
Marketplace Management:
Build relationships with platforms like Amazon and Flipkart to secure favorable terms. Optimize product listings, pricing, and promotions to drive visibility and conversions.
Collaboration with Social Media Agency:
Work closely with the social media agency to ensure cohesive brand messaging across all digital platforms. Align social media campaigns with e-commerce promotions to maximize visibility and conversions. Utilize social insights to enhance product positioning and customer engagement.
Returns and Customer Satisfaction:
Design a customer-centric returns and refund system to ensure seamless handling of replacements and refunds. Collaborate with marketplaces and internal teams to minimize returns by improving product descriptions, quality checks, and customer education. Monitor return rates and customer feedback, using insights to improve product offerings and services.
Website Optimization:
Enhance the brand’s website performance by improving user experience, boosting traffic through SEO/SEM strategies, and ensuring a smooth shopping experience. Develop targeted marketing campaigns to increase sales and engagement.
Operational Excellence:
Implement efficient order fulfillment systems, manage inventory across warehouses, and ensure timely delivery to customers. Optimize stock levels to avoid shortages or overstocking.
Performance Monitoring & Analytics:
Track key metrics, including sales performance, return rates, and customer ratings. Analyze trends to refine e-commerce strategies and identify growth opportunities.
Customer Engagement & Brand Reputation:
Respond promptly to customer inquiries and complaints. Monitor reviews and ratings on marketplaces, ensuring proactive resolution of issues. Build a robust feedback system to enhance customer satisfaction and uphold ZADASTAR’s reputation as a trusted e-commerce brand.
Leadership & Collaboration:
Lead a team of e-commerce specialists, setting goals and aligning their efforts with the company’s vision. Work closely with supply chain, marketing, and IT teams to ensure seamless operations and execution.
Qualifications:
8+ years of experience in e-commerce, including 5 years managing marketplaces like Amazon and Flipkart.
Proficiency in SEO, SEM, and analytics tools, with a track record of driving sales and customer engagement.
Strong operational knowledge of inventory, fulfillment, and returns management.
Proven ability to collaborate with external agencies and internal teams to execute cohesive digital strategies.
Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
