Job Title: Finance Manager

Location: Gurgaon, India

Reporting To: Senior Management (UK-based)

Salary Budget: 6lpa to 12 lpa (Based on experience)

The ideal candidate will be responsible for working with senior management to develop financial strategies for the organization. You are comfortable handling large amounts of data, decision maker, and providing regular financial reporting. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage revenue streams, invoicing, and accrued revenue postings
  • Report and analyse debtor accounting
  • Maintain expenditure records and code invoices accurately
  • Post payments and receipts, organise and file invoices
  • Prepare and post journals, supporting month-end tasks
  • Conduct account reconciliations and complete bank reconciliations
  • Assist with cash flow management and handle ad hoc financial tasks
  • Prepare and analyse financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Conduct financial analysis and provide recommendations for process improvement.
  • Maintain compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  • You will be in charge of month end processes including accruals, prepayments etc for all overheads departments.
  • Producing Profit and Loss accounts by project and department etc monthly.
  • Monthly financial performance reviews with department/operational heads and Project Managers and providing Business Partnering and giving commercial inputs.
  • Responsible for detailed revenue and cost trend analysis to aid budget and forecasts preparation

Required Skills & Qualifications :

  • Strong understanding of UK and Indian accounting standards and tax regulations.
  • Experience in managing VAT and tax filings in both the UK and India.
  • Proficiency in financial software, accounting platforms (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, Xero), and Excel for financial modeling and reporting.
  • Solid experience with P&L management, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple financial systems and platforms.
  • Team player with excellent communication skills to work across international teams.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • High level of integrity and confidentiality in managing financial data.

Preferred Experience :

  • Previous experience working in UK-based finance roles or managing UK accounts from abroad.
  • Familiarity with online platforms such as Shopify, Amazon, and other e-commerce portals.
