This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the financial success of complex projects.Position Overview:The Finance Manager will oversee the financial management of the company's project execution activities, ensuring robust financial controls, effective budgeting, cost tracking, and financial reporting. You will be responsible for providing actionable financial insights to senior management and project teams, enabling the successful execution of projects within budget and in line with financial goals. This role will involve close collaboration with project managers, procurement teams, and other key stakeholders to drive financial performance across multiple projects.Key Responsibilities:Project Financial Planning & Analysis:Prepare and manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost estimates in collaboration with project managers.Track project performance against financial goals, analyzing deviations and recommending corrective actions.Support project teams with financial modeling and scenario analysis to ensure accurate cost control and timely financial reporting.Cost Control & Reporting:Monitor and manage project costs, including labor, materials, subcontractor expenses, and overheads.Develop and implement cost control systems to track project expenditures and ensure adherence to budgets.Review and approve project-related invoices and payments, ensuring compliance with contractual terms and financial policies.Prepare and present regular financial reports to senior management, highlighting financial performance, project status, and variances from budget.Financial Oversight & Compliance:Ensure compliance with internal financial controls, accounting standards, and relevant regulatory requirements.Coordinate with external auditors during year-end audits and provide necessary financial documentation.Oversee cash flow management, ensuring timely payments and effective management of working capital for project needs.Risk Management:Identify and assess financial risks related to project execution and recommend strategies to mitigate those risks.Work with senior management to evaluate the financial implications of project delays, scope changes, and unforeseen expenses.Team Management & Collaboration:Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence.Partner with project managers, procurement teams, and other departments to ensure that financial considerations are integrated into every stage of the project lifecycle.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field (CPA, CFA, or MBA is a plus).Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management, with at least 2 years in the construction, engineering, or project execution industry.In-depth knowledge of project-based accounting, cost control, and financial reporting within an execution-focused environment.Experience with construction project management software or ERP systems.Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial modeling tools.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage complex data and provide strategic insights.Strong communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.Proven ability to manage competing priorities and work under pressure to meet deadlines.Why Join Us?Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.Opportunity to work on exciting and high-profile projects.Career development and growth opportunities in a dynamic and expanding company.Collaborative and inclusive work environment.
