About the Role - Collaborate closely with Analytics and Portfolio Managers to understand and address their technical needs, while designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, high-performance applications and systems. Lead and manage end-to-end product delivery to ensure high-quality, timely releases, and work with offshore teams, providing guidance and maintaining alignment with project goals.
Primary Skill: Python
• Hands-on experience with distributed and data-intensive applications
• Proficiency in building dynamic and static reports using Python • Strong understanding of building RESTful APIs with Python
• Familiarity with Python code/design practices and best practices
Cloud and Infrastructure:
• Exposure to AWS (preferably AWS Certified Architect)
• Experience with Snowflake and relational databases such as Oracle and Postgres
• Familiarity with working on both Linux and Windows environments
• Understanding of distributed systems and their challenges
Dev Ops and CI/CD:
• Experience with Git Lab/Git Hub and understanding of CI/CD best practices
• Proficiency in building and managing deployment pipelines
Communication and Collaboration:
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with onsite clients
• Experience in working with Asset Management firms or Investment Banks is highly desirable
• Ability to manage and coordinate with offshore teams
Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree or master’s in computer science, Engineering, Software Engineering or a relevant field. AWS Certified Solutions Architect or similar certification. Experience in the financial services industry, particularly in asset management. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively.
