Rupeeit is India's first money learning app, designed to make financial literacy engaging, simple, and relatable. We deliver bite-sized, reel-like video lessons from certified experts, covering everything from managing your first salary to mastering advanced investing.

Our mission is bold yet simple: to make every Indian financially literate and confident in making money decisions. Based in Bengaluru, Rupeeit transforms the way people learn about money making it as enjoyable as scrolling through social media.

Role Overview :

As the Co-Founder & CTO, you will be at the heart of Rupeeit's technology and product strategy. You'll build, scale, and secure the platform, ensuring it delivers world-class experiences to millions of users. This is a high-impact leadership role that combines hands-on technical expertise with visionary thinking and team-building.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and drive the technology vision, architecture, and roadmap.
  • Build and scale the platform from scratch, ensuring high performance, scalability, and security.
  • Lead by example through hands-on coding, architecture design, and system optimization.
  • Hire, mentor, and grow a strong engineering team.
  • Collaborate with co-founders to align tech strategy with business objectives.
  • Stay ahead of emerging technologies, app ecosystems, and social content trends.
  • Play a key role in fundraising and investor relations, supporting future growth.
Qualifications
  • Proven Startup Experience : At least 4+ years of building and scaling consumer tech or social platforms, preferably as a founder or in founder-level roles.
  • Education : Graduate from a Tier-1 institute (IITs, IIMs, or equivalent).
  • Product Building : Strong experience in creating scalable architectures and backends.
  • Leadership : Ability to hire, inspire, and lead high-performing tech teams.
  • Investor Mindset : Willingness to invest in the startup for equity and work full-time.
  • Fundraising Edge : Exposure to fundraising, pitching, and closing strategic partnerships.
  • User-Centric : Deep passion for creators, digital communities, and building engaging consumer products.
