We are looking for a passionate front-end web developer with a hunger to learn and a hustle mentality. You will be working on the creation of static and dynamic landing pages and websites using Wordpress, Shopify, HTML, CSS, Javascript and PHP, based on supplied designs from our creative team. We're looking for a web developer who knows how to problem solve and get results.

Roles and Responsibilities:

WordPress Development Expertise:

  • Develop and customize WordPress themes and plugins to meet project requirements.
  • Build responsive, high-performance websites from scratch or by customizing existing themes.
  • Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness for all web projects.

Technical Problem-Solving:

  • Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, including performance, security, and usability.
  • Optimize websites for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Implement website security measures to protect against vulnerabilities.

Team Collaboration:

  • Work closely with designers to translate visual concepts into functional websites.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to integrate SEO best practices and analytics tracking.
  • Participate in project planning sessions, providing technical insights and recommendations.

Continuous Learning and Improvement:

  • Stay updated with the latest WordPress developments, plugins, and trends.
  • Experiment with new technologies and tools to improve development efficiency.
  • Share knowledge and mentor junior developers to foster a culture of growth.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of two years in a WordPress development role or similar.
  • Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and PHP.
  • Experience with Elementor, Advanced Custom Fields (ACF), WooCommerce, and RESTful APIs.
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
  • Understanding of web standards, accessibility, and SEO principles.
  • Solutions-oriented mindset with robust troubleshooting skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent English communication skills
