Role : Business Enablement Engineer (Process Excellence)

Job Location: Goa, India

Work Model:

Hybrid - Twice a week from office

Remote - This will be Work from home with a caveat of visiting Goa office for one week in a quarter with no challenges in performance.

Summary:

We are hiring for a Business Enablement (Process Excellence) Engineer in our Business Enablement and Solutions Team. The BE Engineer executes the continuous improvement initiatives across the organization. The ideal candidate will implement process automation solutions using Microsoft Power Platform or Salesforce based on lean six sigma principles for process optimization, using real-time feedback and cross-cultural insights to ensure agility and flexibility in our operations. This role will develop process improvement architecture and guide the implementation of improvement initiatives. The hire should be able to work independently and will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing solutions that would improve the business process across the organization. Ideal candidate will have Process Engineering background and expertise in any of the process automation tools with problem-solving mindset who is ready to go above and beyond to enhance the efficiency of the business operations. Enablement Engineer will be associating with stakeholders and business units to understand their areas of improvements and automation. The hire will work very closely with the Business Enablement Engineer, Senior Team to design, implement and support automation solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Business Process Improvements: Collaborate with business units and stakeholders to understand their processes, identify the areas of improvement. Leads the development and implementation of operational and process excellence strategies across the organization. Analyses existing business and operations processes using various methods to find opportunities for improvement and makes recommendations to management to stand up action teams to address the findings.
  • Mapping Operations and Processes: Identify and map any unorganized and unmapped business processes and operations. Serve as a solution partner to streamline the processes. Conducts root cause analysis of an inefficient process and suggests improvement strategies. Leads the implementation of new process design initiatives.
  • Solution Design and POC: Design solution based on Lean Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies; and create Proof of Concept (POC) to demonstrate value addition.
  • Solution Development: Collaborate with BES Team and develop application using Microsoft Power Platform or Salesforce CRM. Provide direction and guidance to project teams to implement solutions that meet applicable business requirements.
  • Post-production Support: Provide technical insights and training to the customers on using the application. Collaborate with the customers for the continual improvement of the solution.
  • Postproduction Analysis: Monitors progress of implemented initiatives to ensure that the change has yielded the desirable results and that the team is working efficiently.
  • Enterprise Data Architecture: Build solution that aligns with the existing enterprise architecture, industry standards and best practices, governance policies, and security standards.
  • Data and Reporting: Consider the reporting requirements while designing the solution and database architecture to create interactive and insightful dashboards and reports using Power BI to support data-driven decision-making. Associate with Reporting and Analytics Team for reporting.
  • Ownership and Proactivity: Passionate about providing process improvement solution and work like a solution partner for the stakeholders. Take ownership of the project.
  • Stay up to date: Stay updated with the latest industry trends in operational excellence and develop strategies to implement best practices across the organization.
  • Timeline and Development Goals: Create timelines and set development goals to ensure projects are completed on time and within scope.
  • Create awareness and provide mentorship: Creates awareness about improvement methodologies while mentoring and coaching junior resources in operational excellence.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain SOPs and solution documentation for quality and training purposes

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Expertise in Lean Six Sigma and Continuous Improvement
  • Expertise with Project Management
  • Expertise with root cause analysis, redesigning processes and creating POCs.
  • Experience creating KPIs for measuring the efficiency / performance of the processes.
  • Expertise with developing application using Microsoft Power Platform – Power Automate, Power Apps, etc.
  • Experience with Salesforce Service Cloud CRM
  • Experience working with Software Development Teams.
  • Understanding of UI/UX principle.
  • Experience with implementing security best practices, including role-based access control, data privacy, and compliance standards.
  • Solid grasp of Agile development methodologies.

CERTIFICATIONS:

  • Lean Six Sigma Greenbelt preferred. Or, in the process of obtaining certification.
  • Project Management preferred. Or, in the process of obtaining certification.
  • Microsoft Power Platform or any CRM tools.

QUALIFICATION AND ATTRIBUTES:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Petroleum, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  • Master’s degree Preferred.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Energy Industry with a focus on process optimization,
  • Industrial engineering, operation excellence, and global collaboration.
  • Proven record of accomplishment of working with cross-cultural teams and driving
  • successful bilateral exchanges.
  • Experience leading a project and strong project management skills.
  • Strong understanding of Lean Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Platforms like Power Automate, Power Apps will be an
  • advantage
  • Experience with any reporting and analytics tools like Power BI, Tableau etc.
  • Experience with any ERP or CRM applications like Salesforce Service Cloud, Microsoft
  • Dynamic 365
  • Experience working with Oil and Gas Industry will be an advantage
