Job Title: Assistant Manager/Dy. Manager – GST & Taxation. Department: Finance & Accounts.Location: Noida (Head Office)Reporting To: GM Indirect Taxation.Experience Required: Minimum 5 Years.Role OverviewThe Assistant Manager – GST & Taxation will be responsible for managing all indirect tax compliances, mainly GST return filings, invoicing, e-way bill generation, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders for billing, and dispatch processes. The role also includes supporting audits, reconciliations, and ensuring adherence to applicable GST laws and regulatory requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and file Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual GST Returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, GSTR-9C, etc.) within statutory timelines.Generate and validate e-Invoices and E-Way Bills in compliance with GST regulations & as per company’s project invoicing systems.Manage day-to-day GST-related queries and ensure correct classification of goods and services for tax treatment.Coordinate with Billing and Dispatch Teams to ensure proper documentation and GST compliance during material movement.Perform GST Reconciliation between purchase register, sales register, and GSTR-2A/2B.Handle Notices, Assessments, and Departmental Communications related to GST.Maintain records, data, and documentation for audit and compliance purposes.Collaborate with Accounts, SCM, and Operations teams for tax-related support and training .Assist in vendor registration and verification from a taxation perspective .Monitor changes in GST laws , circulars, and notifications and implement the necessary process updates.Additional / Optional Responsibilities (if applicable)Support in Internal & Statutory Audits related to indirect taxation.Work with Accounts and Finance team to improve automation in billing and compliance workflows.Ensure timely input tax credits and vendor follow-ups for discrepancies.Assist in MIS reporting related to tax liabilities, reconciliation status, and compliance trackers.Desired Candidate ProfileGraduate/Post-Graduate in Commerce, Finance, or related discipline .Hands-on experience of 5+ years in GST compliance, return filing, and taxation.Strong knowledge of GST legislation, documentation, and reporting formats .Working knowledge of ERP systems, Oracle, or equivalent .
