About the Role: Location : Hyderabad TG, Chennai TN, Bengaluru KA, Pune MH, Vadodara GJ (hybrid work) Work hours : 2-11 pm Description: As a Snowflake Operations Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the operational aspects of our data platform.
You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of our Snowflake environment and Confluent Cloud infrastructure, providing technical expertise and troubleshooting issues as needed.
Key Responsibilities: Snowflake Operations: Monitor the Snowflake environment for performance issues, errors, and anomalies.
Troubleshoot and resolve Snowflake-related problems, including query optimization, data loading, and security.
Manage Snowflake user accounts, roles, and permissions.
Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as database backups, patching, and upgrades.
Optimize Snowflake performance through indexing, partitioning, and other techniques.
Confluent Cloud Operations: Monitor Confluent Cloud infrastructure for health and performance.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Kafka clusters, topics, and producers/consumers.
Manage Confluent Cloud configuration and settings.
Assist with data ingestion and streaming processes.
Data Governance Collaboration Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
5+ years of experience working with Snowflake and Confluent Cloud.
Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and technologies.
Proficiency in SQL and Python.
Experience with data warehousing and data lake concepts.
