About the Role:


Location: Hyderabad TG, Chennai TN, Bengaluru KA, Pune MH, Vadodara GJ (hybrid work)

Work hours: 2-11 pm


Description:

  • As a Snowflake Operations Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the operational aspects of our data platform.
  • You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of our Snowflake environment and Confluent Cloud infrastructure, providing technical expertise and troubleshooting issues as needed.


Key Responsibilities:

Snowflake Operations:

  • Monitor the Snowflake environment for performance issues, errors, and anomalies.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve Snowflake-related problems, including query optimization, data loading, and security.
  • Manage Snowflake user accounts, roles, and permissions.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as database backups, patching, and upgrades.
  • Optimize Snowflake performance through indexing, partitioning, and other techniques.

Confluent Cloud Operations:

  • Monitor Confluent Cloud infrastructure for health and performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Kafka clusters, topics, and producers/consumers.
  • Manage Confluent Cloud configuration and settings.
  • Assist with data ingestion and streaming processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience working with Snowflake and Confluent Cloud.
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and technologies.
  • Proficiency in SQL and Python.
  • Experience with data warehousing and data lake concepts.
