Overview:

As an Area Sales Manager, your primary responsibility will be to drive sales growth within your designated area. You will play a pivotal role in achieving sales targets, maximizing revenue, building and nurturing client relationships, expanding market presence, implementing effective sales strategies, and leading a high-performing sales team.


Key Responsibilities:

Sales Reinforcement

  • Develop and execute sales plans to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Identify opportunities for sales growth and devise strategies to capitalize on them.
  • Regularly monitor sales performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and competitors' activities.

Revenue Maximization

  • Implement pricing strategies to optimize revenue generation.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients to ensure profitable deals.
  • Analyze sales data and trends to identify areas for revenue enhancement.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop promotional campaigns to drive sales.

Relationship Building

  • Cultivate strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and stakeholders.
  • Address client concerns and resolve issues promptly to maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Act as a brand ambassador and represent the company at industry events and trade shows.
  • Collaborate with internal departments such as marketing, product development, and customer service to align strategies and initiatives.

New Doors

  • Identify and pursue opportunities to expand the customer base by opening new accounts.
  • Develop a pipeline of potential clients and establish relationships to convert leads into sales.
  • Explore new markets and distribution channels to increase market penetration.
  • Lead efforts to secure partnerships with retailers, salons, and other relevant businesses.

Strategy Development

  • Develop comprehensive sales strategies aligned with company objectives and market dynamics.
  • Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activities to refine sales tactics.
  • Continuously assess and adjust strategies based on performance metrics and feedback.

Team Handling

  • Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing sales team.
  • Set clear sales targets and provide ongoing coaching and support to team members.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
  • Foster a collaborative and motivational work environment to maximize team productivity.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Proven track record of success in sales management, preferably in the haircare industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies.
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
