Job Summary
As a Recruiter, you will be responsible for sourcing, interviewing, and placing healthcare professionals into travel assignments. This role requires strong recruitment skills, a deep understanding of the healthcare industry, and the ability to manage multiple assignments effectively. The ideal candidate will have experience in healthcare staffing, a strong network in the industry, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
Recruiting and Placement
Source, interview, and place healthcare professionals into travel assignments using online job boards, social media, networking, and referrals.
Post job openings on various platforms and generate leads to build a robust candidate pipeline.
Submit candidate packages into client vendor management systems.
Close candidates on job offers and pay packages, ensuring alignment with their expectations and career goals.
Maintain detailed records of candidate interactions and placements.
Candidate to Client Relationships
Develop and maintain strong relationships with healthcare facilities by understanding their staffing needs.
Collaborate with Edgemont’s client management team to provide the best candidates for their assignments.
Strategy and Planning
Implement recruitment strategies to meet company goals and objectives.
Analyze recruitment metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Develop and grow the candidate pipeline to meet ongoing staffing needs.
Compliance and Documentation
Ensure all activities comply with regulatory requirements and company policies.
Oversee the documentation process to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates throughout their assignments, providing support and addressing any concerns.
Address candidate issues such as payroll, logistics, and assignment challenges by collaborating with internal teams.
Act as the primary point of contact for healthcare providers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction among nurses and allied technologists.
Promote an exceptional brand experience with Edgemont, ensuring candidates feel valued and supported.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Collaborate with credentialing, account management, marketing, payroll, clinical department, and administration teams to ensure smooth operations and candidate satisfaction.
Market Knowledge
Stay updated with industry trends, compensation rates, and other factors impacting the healthcare staffing industry.
Share insights with the recruitment team and leadership.
Performance and Growth
Meet or exceed performance metrics and targets for candidate placements and client satisfaction.
Grow referral business through maintaining positive relationships with placed candidates and clients.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field preferred.
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in healthcare recruitment or staffing.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment software.
Knowledge of healthcare compliance requirements and credentialing processes.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility to work outside regular business hours, as needed, to accommodate candidate and client schedules.
