Job Summary:
The General Manager – Export Sales will be responsible for leading and expanding export sales operations for Cosmos Pumps Pvt. Ltd., with a strong focus on key international markets, specifically Australia, South Africa, Indonesia, and Russia. The role requires extensive experience in driving sales growth, strategic planning, and managing relationships in these target regions to achieve the company’s export sales objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement export sales strategies tailored to each target region (Australia, South Africa, Indonesia, and Russia) to drive revenue growth and market share.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, agents, and clients in international markets to maximize sales opportunities.
- Oversee the export sales team, providing leadership, mentorship, and training to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Conduct thorough market research and competitor analysis to identify new sales opportunities and adapt strategies as necessary.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Development, Marketing, and Customer Support, to align export sales efforts with broader business objectives.
- Manage and optimize the export sales budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to achieve the highest ROI.
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, tariffs, and policies to mitigate risks and avoid disruptions to export activities.
- Regularly report on sales performance, market trends, and strategic adjustments to the Chief Sales Officer and other key stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Diploma/bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering,
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales and marketing.
- Proven track record of doing TECHNICAL SALES of any INDUSTRIAL MACHINERY or CONSTRUCTION EQUIPMENT.
- Proven track record in export sales, specifically with markets in Australia, South Africa, Indonesia, and Russia.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth in the industrial pump or related industry.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
- Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
- Ability to travel as needed.
