Tripoto is India's largest community of travellers with over 4 Million travellers visiting us every month. We run some of the largest social media channels for travel with a combined reach of over 50 Million monthly impressions across Facebook, Instagram and Youtube. As Tripoto’s Social Media Manager, you’ll be responsible for accelerating the growth of our social media channels. To apply please send your application to with portfolio and CV. Location: Remote 

An ideal candidate will have: 

  • A strong sense for identifying, curating and directing high quality content that would perform on Facebook, Instagram and youtube
  • A deep understanding of the latest in influencer led content, short videos and reels
  • Strong creative instincts, a keen eye for aesthetics, clean copy and proactive approach when it comes to engaging communities. 
  • Deep insights on accelerating follower growth, driving engagement numbers and website clicks
  • An understanding of building and growing different audience segments
  • An understanding of audiences consuming content in vernacular languages
  • The ability to translate broad campaign ideas into creative content strategy 
  • A strong understanding of digital marketing and design
  • Be on top of channel and platform innovations, and algorithm changes

Your day-to-day: 

  • Ideate, collaborate and execute social-first ideas
  • Integrate branded content into our social media channels
  • Create, curate and manage content published across Tripoto’s social media channels including but not limited to Instagram, Youtube, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and Linkedin. 
  • Conceptualize and collaborate with designers on organic creatives and branded campaign assets, to amplify our content and brand marketing
  • Draw on consumer, cultural and topical insight to create informed travel-based content 
  • Create and implement monthly social media calendars that include monthly objectives and topical initiatives 
  • Lead, ideate and manage contests, giveaways, and other community events
  • Grow social media following and overall engagement, making necessary recommendations for optimisations where appropriate
  • Reach out to Influencers and social media creators to build a content pipeline
