Position: Showroom Sales Executives

Job Summary:
The Showroom Sales Executive will play a key role in driving sales and ensuring a superior customer experience at Alankaram’s Bangalore showroom. The role requires a proactive sales professional with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with clients, identify their needs, and convert showroom visits into sales. The candidate will also assist in maintaining the showroom’s day-to-day operations, product displays, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales and Customer Engagement:
- Greet and assist customers in the showroom, understanding their preferences and providing product recommendations tailored to their needs.
- Drive sales by demonstrating extensive knowledge of Alankaram’s luxury furniture offerings, materials, design options, and customization capabilities.
- Proactively follow up on customer inquiries, quotes, and leads to convert potential buyers into customers.
- Prepare and present product quotations and assist customers in the decision-making process.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, including interior designers, architects, and end-users, to generate repeat business and referrals.
- Achieve and exceed individual sales targets and contribute to the overall sales objectives of the showroom.
Showroom Management and Maintenance:
- Ensure that the showroom is visually appealing and properly arranged, with all product displays in pristine condition.
- Assist with inventory management, including tracking product availability, restocking items, and conducting regular stock checks.
- Work with the team to maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for customers.
Product Knowledge and Training:
- Stay updated on Alankaram’s product offerings, new arrivals, and industry trends to provide accurate and engaging product information to clients.
- Participate in regular training sessions on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer engagement.
Customer Experience and Feedback:
- Deliver a premium customer service experience, addressing customer queries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Gather and communicate customer feedback, preferences, and needs to improve the showroom's offerings and service.
Promotional Activities and Events:
- Support showroom promotional activities, exhibitions, and events aimed at driving foot traffic and boosting sales.
- Engage with clients during events to maximize exposure and sales opportunities.
Collaboration and Reporting:
- Collaborate with the showroom team to achieve collective sales targets and support daily operations.
- Provide sales reports, updates on customer interactions, and feedback to the Showroom Manager regularly.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Sales conversion rates and achievement of individual sales targets.
- Customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Product knowledge proficiency and application during customer interactions.
- Timely follow-ups and responsiveness to customer inquiries.
- Quality and appeal of product displays and showroom maintenance.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
- 4+ years of experience in sales, preferably in luxury furniture, home decor, or a similar industry.
- Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric mindset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Passion for interior design and luxury furniture.
- Familiarity with CRM tools and sales software is a plus.
