About the RoleWe are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Automation Test Engineer with 5+ years of hands-on experience in Java-based test automation, Selenium, API testing, and BDD frameworks like Cucumber. If you're passionate about quality, automation, and delivering high-performance, bug-free applications, we want to hear from youKey Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain robust test automation frameworks using Java and Selenium.- Create and execute API test cases using tools like Postman or Rest Assured.- Implement and maintain BDD test scripts using Cucumber in collaboration with developers and business analysts.- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.- Collaborate closely with development, DevOps, and QA teams to ensure end-to-end quality.- Identify test requirements, create detailed test plans, and write reusable automation scripts.- Analyze test results, track defects, and ensure timely resolution.- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and best practices.Must-Have Skills- Strong experience in Java programming for test automation- Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver- Proficient in API testing (RESTful services)- Experience with BDD frameworks, particularly Cucumber- Good understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes- Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail)- Working knowledge of version control systems like Git- Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsPreferred Skills- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI- Exposure to cloud environments (AWS, Azure)- Knowledge of performance or security testing is a plus- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments- Familiarity with Playwright for modern end-to-end testing- Exposure to mobile automation tools such as Appium
