Role: Salesforce Functional Consultant

Experience: 6-8 years

Location: Hyderabad (Hybrid)

We're looking for a highly motivated and experienced Salesforce Functional Consultant to join our dynamic team. You will be the linchpin between our clients' business needs and the technical implementation of Salesforce solutions. You'll not only act as a strategic advisor and hands-on consultant but also manage the project lifecycle to ensure successful delivery. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with exceptional leadership and communication skills, capable of driving projects from inception to completion while maintaining a strong focus on client satisfaction.

What You'll Do:

  • Project Management & Leadership: Technologically lead complex projects throughout the complete IT lifecycle (Analysis, Architecture, Design, Build, Test & Production).
  • Participate in daily scrum meetings, analyze user stories, and resolve any gaps in functional requirements.
  • Work collaboratively in a creative, Agile environment and manage agile task assignments.
  • Identify and manage project risks and issues, ensuring they are monitored and resolved.
  • Ensure team deliverables are met and conduct successful sprint show-and-tells.
  • Business Analysis & Solution Design: Engage directly with customers to understand their business processes and requirements, performing a thorough fit-gap analysis.
  • Translate business needs into a clear and comprehensive functional design for Salesforce solutions.
  • Document business requirements and maintain a traceability matrix to ensure all needs are met.
  • Configure and customize Salesforce Sales and Service applications.
  • Client Engagement & Training: Communicate clearly and proactively with clients and internal team members.
  • Prepare end-user training documentation and lead training workshops.
  • Participate in pre-sales activities, including reviewing RFPs, analyzing requirements, preparing solution proposals, and conducting demos.
  • Continuous Improvement & Best Practices: Contribute to the development of best practices and guidelines for architecting Salesforce solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Salesforce products and solutions, continuously enhancing your knowledge and skills.

What You Bring:

  • Experience: 6-8 years of total professional experience, with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on Salesforce experience as a functional consultant.
  • Proven experience in large-scale, end-to-end project implementations for enterprise clients.
  • Must have delivered at least 5 full Salesforce projects for different customers.
  • Core Salesforce Expertise: Solid functional knowledge of core Salesforce products, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Marketing Cloud.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce customization and configuration, including Apex, Visualforce, Triggers, and Lightning Components.
  • Proficiency in customization of page layouts, setting up approval processes, and configuring security and sharing rules at both the object and record levels.
  • Solid understanding of Agile/SCRUM methodologies, DevOps and Salesforce DX.
  • Leadership & Communication: Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage with both technical teams and C-level executives.
  • Proactive, a strong communicator, and able to set and manage client expectations.
  • A collaborative team player who can work effectively with sales, pre-sales, and delivery teams.
  • Salesforce Certification(s) are a must.

  • Industry knowledge in sectors like Financial Services, Health, Education etc.
