Position Summary

This Strategic Leadership position will own and lead IT/ digital transformation at Ample -across group companies and business units - enabling multi fold growth across India and beyond Over next 3years.

There is a need to establish a solid IT/Technology foundation which will support the growth and help differentiate in the market – positioning Ample as a futuristic customer centric organization.

This leadership position will be responsible for defining the vision, roadmap, architecture, implementation of IT/digital transformation and then establishing a lean operations model enabling lean and IT ops. Working closely with business unit leaders, this position will help Ample become a lean and truly agile DevOps organization.

Driving an application modernization and migration plan across the business, this function will transform the way Ample leverages technology and enable automation across the organization.

Defining an integrated data management approach and building an AI enabled business analytics capability, this role will help Ample monetize data and leverage data for superior experience and business value creation.

While building a comprehensive security framework for Ample, this position will visualize and build customer /employee centric experience platforms connecting the organization.

This strategic leadership position will work directly with CEO and contribute to the overall organization strategy and performance.

Roles & Responsibility

  • Define and execute a strategic IT/Digital transformation vision for Ample- enabling multi fold growth of business.
  • Define futuristic IT architecture focused on experience led customer /employee centric systems – delivering a seamless omni channel experience across sales and service.
  • Transform and rebuild IT organization into a business value creator organization – leveraging technology for business growth, efficient operations and futuristic innovation.
  • Establish best in class global practices and processes to position Ample as a differentiated leader in the industry – Enable business process transformation leveraging technology.
  • Define and execute a strategic IT/Digital transformation vision for Ample- enabling multi fold growth of business.
  • Own and manage IT budget – building a lean operations engine enabled by automation to support customers and employees alike.
  • Own operations across Applications, network, end user devices and security – cutting across partners and create an integrated IT operations model for Ample.
  • Own and drive technology innovation across the businesses
  • Transform Ample into an Agile Devops organization working closely with business.
  • Define and execute application modernization and migration plan in line with business demands and create a continuous evolution model.
  • Build and operate reliable applications and ensuring continuous availability for businesses.
  • Define a tech consolidation and • simplification plan across Ample – leveraging common technology partners across businesses.
  • Enable launch of tech enabled and products and services for Ample.
  • Engage with product/technology vendors as a primary decision maker and ensure alignment.
  • Own and manage compliance requirements across the ecosystem – partners, government, and external agencies.
  • Position Ample as a thought leader in industry forums and create visibility – own innovation charter across the organization.
  • Build and nurture an IT talent pool as relevant to the organization and focus on talent transformation – positioning Ample as a tech employer of choice.
  • Primary owner of creating and building a security framework across IT and operations

Skills & Experience

  • Over 15 years of experience in IT/tech – preferably in CIO organizations or in services companies while managing end to end responsibilities for enterprises.
  • Experience in digital transformation for enterprises – experience with retail industry preferred – spanning across business processes.
  • Experience with omnichannel systems required for a new generation retailer.
  • Experience across applications, infrastructure, network and end user IT environment operations.
  • Ability to define and manage a futuristic IT architecture – spanning applications, data and security
  • Experience in establishing an IT governance model across the organization
  • Experience in DevOps transformation
  • Experience in Process transformation & exposure to AI and automation technologies
  • Willingness to take risks and ability to start from scratch
  • Target orientation and familiarity with service delivery constructs relevant to IT services – experience in building and managing a partner ecosystem
  • Front line leadership and communication skills
  • Deep understanding of Technology and architecture concepts – Industry trends/disruptors
