Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Chief Technology Officer at futbolkart in Bengaluru. We are looking for a visionary Chief Technology Officer (CTO) who is not just a tech expert but also a passionate football lover. This role involves spearheading technological innovation, building a world-class tech team, and driving our platform’s growth from the ground up.


Key Responsibilities:

• Technology Vision: Define and execute a technology roadmap aligned with Futbolkart’s long-term goals.

• Team Building: Recruit, mentor, and lead a talented tech team to drive product innovation and platform development.

• Hands-On Development: Take a hands-on approach initially, working closely with the product team to shape the platform’s architecture and core features.

• Scalability & Security: Ensure the platform is scalable, secure, and optimized for growth and user engagement.

• Innovation: Leverage emerging technologies (AI, ML, Blockchain, etc.) to enhance user experiences and introduce new features.

• Strategic Leadership: Collaborate with the founding team to align technology with business strategy, paving the way for rapid growth and market leadership.


Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• 7+ years of experience in software development, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.

• Strong expertise in full-stack development, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), and scalable system architecture.

• Proven ability to recruit and manage high-performing engineering teams.

• Experience in building and scaling platforms, preferably in sports-tech or a similar domain.

• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.

• A deep love for football and an understanding of the sport’s ecosystem.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with non-technical stakeholders.
