In this role, you will make Observability products Enterprise ready by building effective and efficient, planet-scale Compliance for Cloud Logging, Trace and Monitoring. Cloud Observability provides tools to help Cloud customers troubleshoot, debug, and understand the behavior of their applications running on Cloud infrastructure like Kubernetes and App Engine.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure cloud infrastructure on leading platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of Postman's cloud services.
- Utilize Kubernetes to orchestrate and automate the deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications.
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize Kubernetes configurations for various workloads.
- Leverage ArgoCD for GitOps-based continuous delivery of applications.
- Use Helm for packaging, versioning, and deploying applications.
- Implement and extend Crossplane for managing cloud infrastructure resources in multi-cloud environments.
- Work closely with the team to ensure seamless integration with Postman’s architecture.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, and Helm charts.
- Maintain version-controlled infrastructure code for repeatability and scalability.
- Implement and manage monitoring and logging solutions for cloud-based applications.
- Collaborate with the DevOps team to enhance observability and resolve issues effectively.
- Enforce security best practices for cloud infrastructure.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.
- Work with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and provide technical expertise.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation for infrastructure, configurations, and procedures.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer or a similar role.
- Strong expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, ArgoCD, Helm, and Crossplane.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation.
- Solid understanding of containerization and microservices architecture.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Grafana Stack).
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
