Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Java Backend Developer to join our team on a contract basis . As a backend developer, you will play a key role in the development and maintenance of robust and scalable backend systems. You will be working closely with cross-functional teams to build high-quality and efficient software solutions.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Java and related technologies.
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
Work with RESTful APIs , microservices , and other backend technologies.
Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate backend services with user-facing applications.
Conduct performance tuning, debugging, and optimization for better scalability and reliability.
Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards.
Contribute to software architecture design and documentation.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner.
Work in an Agile environment, participating in sprint planning, standups, and reviews.
Mandatory Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Java Backend Developer (3+ years preferred).
Strong proficiency in Java , including experience with Spring Boot .
Hands-on experience with MySQL for database management and design.
Experience with Kafka for message streaming and processing.
Knowledge of Redis for caching and performance optimization.
Familiarity with AWS (Amazon Web Services) for cloud infrastructure management.
Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) and software design patterns.
Experience with RESTful API development and microservices architecture .
Experience with version control systems (Git).
Knowledge of unit testing and test-driven development (TDD).
Desired Skills:
Experience with Docker , Kubernetes , or similar containerization technologies.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
Knowledge of JavaScript or front-end technologies is a plus.
