We understand that transporters are major stakeholders in international commerce and our goal is to make the logistics process as easy as possible after you have completed the sale. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company targets and objectives. Lead and manage a team of sales representatives, providing guidance, coaching, and support to drive performance. Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, networking, and relationship building. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and retention. Collaborate with internal teams, including operations and customer service, to ensure seamless execution of freight forwarding services. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify potential threats and opportunities. Prepare and present sales forecasts, reports, and budgets to senior management. Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with clients to maximize profitability while meeting customer needs. Stay abreast of industry regulations and compliance requirements to ensure adherence in all sales activities. Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote brand awareness and generate leads. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor's degree in business administration, logistics, or a related field; MBA is a plus. Proven track record of success in sales management within the freight forwarding or logistics industry. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a sales team. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. In-depth knowledge of freight forwarding processes, regulations, and industry best practices. Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze market trends and develop innovative sales strategies. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Flexibility to travel as needed. Strong business acumen and decision-making skills.
