About the Role

Leadership position responsible for providing industry and subject matter expertise in the radiology domain while delivering our Clinical Support Solutions (CSS) to our clients. IKS CSS feature cluster (vertical) provides clinical administrative solutions for the US physicians to be able to deliver better, safer, and efficient care. The solutions are across the care journey that include pre-peri-post visit clinical documentation, prescription renewal processing, clinical data abstraction, and document management and medical coding. To deliver these solutions, IKS onboards talent with clinical expertise, who undergo a strong training and learning process during onboarding and on a continual basis. The leader’s primary focus is to set up a radiology center of excellence that will establish IKS as an industry leader in providing clinical solutions to leading healthcare provider organizations.


Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with Operational and Training leaders to clearly understand the current radiology workflow and charter a plan for radiology center of excellence
  • Be a client advisor and provide solutions and drive implementation of the same to achieve workflow efficiency, improved outcomes (Clinical and administrative) in the immediate-medium-long term
  • Provide required knowledge base to the trainers through mind sharing & content creation for training the clinical workforce on radiology systems, radiology case/chart preparation and submission workflow
  • Support the team in devising SOPs and Rulebooks (for example: how to pull up relevant priors, report template management) that will be used on a day-to-day basis as reference guides for the workforce to deliver virtual radiologist assistant services
  • Work closely with Ops Lead & Clinical SME to ensure the learnings leveraged are institutionalized in training and ongoing operations
  • Support process improvement and transformation in the long term
  • Closely collaborate with Client radiologists in devising an industry unique workflow that helps to improve client’s financial and clinical outcomes, alleviate client physician (radiologist) burden
  • Clearly understand the radiology workflow and radiologist “Day in a Life” that includes pre-visit planning, clinical administration and documentation, modalities, medical specialties etc.


Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Healthcare Administration, Radiology, Medical Technology, or similar).
  • Advanced degree (MBA, Master's in Healthcare Management, or related field) preferred.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in the healthcare sector, with a focus on radiology.
  • Proven leadership experience in managing clinical support services or similar operational roles.
  • In-depth knowledge of radiology workflows, clinical documentation, and administrative processes.
  • Familiarity with medical coding and documentation practices.
