About us: The Souled Store is a homegrown youth casual-wear brand started in 2013. We are one of India’s largest online merchandising platforms with licenses like Disney, Warner Bros., Apart from selling products with themed designs such as superheroes, movies, TV shows, and cartoons, the brand also is at the forefront of the latest youth style and fashion trends. In addition to core men and women wear apparel categories, we are also in the process of expanding to new categories and introducing new product lines in the existing categories like activewear, supima products, innerwear, personal care products like perfumes and very recently launched footwear and kidswear. Although we are primarily an online brand, we’ve expanded in the offline retail space as well and have 40 offline stores and further expansion in pan India. The Souled Store was born out of the idea of loving what you do, from the soul. There are too many Monday mornings and you can’t go dreading every single one of them. Lead the end-to-end design & development process for premium smart formals and casual menswear collections - from research, concept creation, and sketching to final product prototyping. ● Drive seasonal trend research, consumer insights, and competitive analysis to identify key opportunities and translate them into commercially viable collections aligned with the brand’s aesthetic. ● Guide and mentor associate designers and interns, providing creative direction, feedback, and ensuring alignment to timelines and brand DNA. ● Oversee the creation of accurate tech packs, including detailed sketches, construction details, and measurement specs for sampling and production. ● Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams - sourcing, production, marketing, and merchandising - to ensure timely execution and quality output. ● Evaluate and finalize fabric, trims, and surface development, ensuring both design intent and Lead fit sessions and sampling reviews, providing clear actionable feedback to vendors and internal teams to maintain quality and design integrity. ● Prepare and present seasonal design boards, storylines, and collection decks to leadership and Ensure all design documentation, CADs, and files are well-organized and updated for easy reference and future use. ● development and enhance design output. Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or a related field. ● 4-6 years of relevant experience in fashion design, with a strong focus on menswear. ● Proven experience in leading or co-leading seasonal collections from concept to production. ● Strong sketching, illustration, and CAD skills. ● Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator). ● Solid understanding of garment construction, patternmaking, textiles, and production methods. ● Excellent communication, team leadership, and stakeholder management skills. ● Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines. Experience working with 3D design software such as CLO or Browzwear. ● Exposure to sustainable materials and design practices. ● Prior experience working in a fast-scaling, youth-centric fashion brand.
