We’ve been growing steadily for four years, and now we’re looking for a Senior Elixir Developer to help us scale our real-time gaming platform. Our tech team works 100% remotely and asynchronously, following modern software development methodologies — so you’ll have the freedom to focus and do your best work. What You’ll Do Design and develop new features using Elixir and Phoenix Build near real-time gaming features and live updates (Web Sockets, Live View)Architect and maintain scalable, fault-tolerant systems Write clean, testable, and maintainable code Collaborate with the team through code reviews and design discussions Optimize performance for real-time and distributed systems Stay ahead of the curve with emerging Elixir and backend technologies What We’re Looking For ~ MSc/BSc in a STEM field or equivalent professional experience ~5+ years of experience with Elixir , OTP , and Phoenix ~ Proven experience building near real-time applications (Web Sockets, Live View, etc.)~ Strong understanding of distributed systems and concurrency ~ Solid experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines ~ Proficiency with databases (Postgre SQL, Mongo DB)~ Experience with messaging systems like Rabbit MQ ~ Networking knowledge ( g RPC, TCP, AMQP)~ Self-starter mindset, excellent communication skills, and ability to thrive in remote startup environments Nice to Have Experience with Erlang Cloud infrastructure experience (AWS, GCP, or similar)Containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)Monitoring and metrics expertise Familiarity with Nx and Axon for machine learning Real-time gaming application experience Performance tuning and optimization expertise Experience with additional programming languages Why You’ll Love Working With Us ~ Fully remote: Work from anywhere ~⏱ Asynchronous culture: Minimal meetings, deep focus work ~ Flexible schedule: Work when you’re most productive ~ Competitive salary: Based on experience ~
