We’ll create a world of opportunities for you.Job Title: Data Governance Architect - IDMCWork Location: Bangalore, Pune, Kolkata, Noida, Hyderabad.Work Experience: 10 years & AboveJob Responsibilities:- Design and implement enterprise-wide Data Governance frameworks, policies, and standards to align with regulatory and business requirements.- Lead the identification, assessment, and remediation of data quality issues across multiple systems and domains.- Champion data stewardship initiatives and define roles and responsibilities to ensure data ownership, accountability, and traceability.- Utilize and manage Data Governance tools including:- Informatica IDMC (Cloud Data Governance & Catalog, Data Quality, CDI/CDQ)- Enable data cataloging, lineage, metadata management, and quality profiling to enhance data transparency and usability across the organization.- Conduct regular data governance and compliance audits, prepare reports, and present findings to stakeholders and leadership.- Deliver training sessions and awareness programs for business and IT teams on governance standards, stewardship roles, and data quality best practices.- Stay abreast of emerging data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA) and implement policies to ensure ongoing compliance.- Collaborate with data architects, engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to embed governance across the data lifecycle.Job Requirements:- 10+ years of experience in data engineering and 5+ years of relevant experience in Data Governance, Data Quality, or Compliance roles.- Proficiency with Informatica Governance tools- IDMC, and one or more of the following: Axon, Alation, Microsoft Purview, Talend, or Ataccama.(added advantage)- Strong understanding of data management principles, metadata management, lineage tracking, and data quality rules.- Solid grasp of data privacy regulations and compliance frameworks.- Exceptional analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.- Experience working in cross-functional teams across IT and business units.
