Job Overview

As a Senior Data Governance Architect at ALIQAN Technologies, you will play a critical role in defining and implementing data governance frameworks. This position requires a minimum of 7 to 10 years of experience in the field. You will be responsible for ensuring data quality, privacy, and compliance in a dynamic IT service and consulting environment.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven experience in data governance and management, with a strong understanding of related frameworks and methodologies.
  • Excellent understanding of data privacy laws and regulations, including GDPR and other compliance requirements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, able to assess complex data environments effectively.
  • Experience in designing and implementing data quality standards and processes.
  • Proficiency in data management tools and technologies, particularly in an IT services context.
  • Ability to communicate complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders with clarity and precision.
  • Leadership abilities to guide and mentor junior team members in data governance best practices.
  • Experience with change management and the ability to drive data governance initiatives within an organization.

  • Define and implement data governance frameworks to ensure data integrity and quality across the organization.
  • Collaborate with IT and business teams to establish data standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Monitor compliance with data privacy laws and regulations and provide guidance on necessary adjustments.
  • Facilitate data governance meetings and workshops, promoting best practices and continuous learning.
  • Analyze current data processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Oversee the deployment of data management tools and identify the need for additional resources or technologies.
  • Develop training and support materials for staff to foster a culture of data governance excellence.
