About Yantra PacksYantra Packs is India's leading returnable packaging pooling company, providing sustainable and cost-effective solutions to industrial supply chains. Through our proprietary software Trakkia, we digitize asset tracking using RFID and IoT technologies. We are transforming supply chains by reducing packaging waste and enabling real-time asset visibility across complex logistics networks.We are looking for a Senior Django/Backend Developer to join our core engineering team and help scale our flagship platform Trakkia.Key Responsibilities:Develop and maintain robust backend systems using Django and Django REST Framework.Work with PostgreSQL for efficient and optimized data modeling and querying.Write scalable APIs and integrate them with ReactJS frontends and third-party services.Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Frontend, QA, Product) to build end-to-end features.Design and manage schema migrations, performance tuning, and data integrity.Troubleshoot bugs, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term solutions.Implement robust data models and ensure data integrity across all customer and asset workflows.Mentor junior developers and enforce best coding practices, code reviews, and testing.Own the performance, security, and maintainability of the backend systems.Work with DevOps teams to manage deployments, environments, and CI/CD pipelines (AWS preferred).Translate business requirements into technical specs and actively participate in roadmap planning.Must-Have Skills:4+ years of experience in Django (DRF) and PostgreSQLStrong understanding of REST APIs, Django ORM, middleware, and background tasks (Celery, Redis).Proficient in writing APIs, serializers, viewsets, and query optimizations.Experience working on scalable systems and microservice-based architectures.Exposure to IoT/Device integrations, especially RFID/barcode systems (a big plus).Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced startup environmentGood to Have:Experience with RFID/barcode integrations or IoT data pipelines.Familiarity with Celery, Redis, Docker, or deployment tools.Exposure to SaaS platforms, B2B enterprise software, or logistics/supply chain tech.
