Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Legal Manager at Locobuzz in Mumbai. The Legal Manager will be responsible for tasks such as legal document preparation, legal consulting, ensuring legal compliance, and managing legal affairs within the organization.

Qualifications

  • Education: A law degree (LLB or equivalent) is required. Additional qualifications or certifications in relevant areas of law are a plus.
  • Experience: A minimum of 4-6 years of legal experience, with a focus on SAAS, technology, or IT-related legal matters. Prior in-house counsel experience is preferred.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of SAAS industry regulations, data privacy laws (e.g., GDPR), and intellectual property rights.
  • Contract Expertise: Proficiency in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of contracts and agreements.
  • Litigation Skills: Experience in managing legal disputes, litigation, and working with external legal counsel.
  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and provide practical legal advice.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound legal judgments.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal.
