MHP India is seeking a Senior Backend Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and building mission-critical infrastructure on public and private cloud platforms, as well as developing the tools and processes necessary to ensure the highest levels of availability and reliability for our clients. You'll work with systems that handle thousands of daily transactions, managing large-scale environments with thousands of virtual machines, hundreds of thousands of requests per second, and petabytes of data. Role Overview As a Senior Backend Developer, you will design and implement robust, scalable solutions for our logistics control platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, lead technical discussions, and ensure high-quality delivery aligned with Agile principles. Key Responsibilities · Architect and develop cloud-based solutions for AGV/AMR fleet management. · Design and implement scalable software architectures using modern frameworks. · Lead and mentor development teams, ensuring adherence to best practices. · Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and deliver strategic solutions. · Ensure high availability, concurrency, and performance optimization in systems. · Drive Agile workflows, participate in sprint planning, and contribute to continuous improvement. · Implement test automation and maintain high test coverage standards. Required Soft Skills · Leadership & Team Management: Minimum 2 years leading software development teams. · Agile/Scrum Expertise: Proven experience in Agile workflows (certification preferred). · Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills for complex challenges. · Collaboration: Effective communication across teams and stakeholders. · Decision-Making: Ability to evaluate and implement architectural solutions. · Strategic Planning: Participation in cloud strategy and design discussions. Required Hard Skills · Cloud Strategy & Design: 3+ years architecting cloud solutions (AWS/Azure certifications preferred). · Solution Architecture: Expertise in scalable architectures (TOGAF or similar certification a plus). · Backend Development: Kotlin, Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA, Liquibase (6+ years). · Frontend Development: Type Script, React, Web Sockets, Pixi.js (1+ year each; Material UI is a plus). · Database: Proficiency in Postgres or similar RDBMS. · Messaging Systems: Hands-on experience with JMS/MQTT and queue/topic-based systems. · Testing: JUnit or Kotest for automation and coverage. · Tools: Advanced usage of Intelli J IDEA, Atlassian Jira, and Confluence (certifications a plus). · Cloud Platforms: AWS and Microsoft Azure (professional-level certifications preferred). Preferred Qualifications · Agile/Scrum certification. · AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Azure Solutions Architect Expert. · TOGAF or equivalent architecture certification. · Atlassian tool certifications.
