Aws lead engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Software Engineer with deep expertise in AWS Io T backend development to design and deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing Io T solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in architecting and implementing AWS Io T solutions, along with the leadership potential to grow into a managerial role.
This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to define Io T software architecture, drive technical excellence, manage delivery timelines, and mentor engineers—while contributing strategically to the growth of Io T capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
Io T Solution Design & Development
Architect and implement end-to-end Io T solutions, focusing on device connectivity, data ingestion, processing, and analytics (software-focused; not hardware/PCB).
Develop robust backend services using AWS Io T Core, Lambda, S3, Dynamo DB, AWS Greengrass , and frameworks such as AWS CDK and Serverless Framework .
Optimize cloud and edge computing strategies for cost-effective, high-performance data processing .
Security & Standards
Implement Io T security best practices , including encryption, authentication, and data privacy.
Ensure scalability, reliability, and performance by defining and enforcing software development standards.
Leadership & Team Collaboration
Lead technical discussions and mentor junior engineers.
Guide cross-functional teams in resolving technical challenges.
Collaborate with product management, engineering, and operations to ensure seamless Io T integration.
Demonstrate managerial potential by influencing strategic decisions and supporting team growth.
End to End Delivery
Own and manage the end-to-end software development lifecycle —from requirements gathering to production rollout.
Provide accurate planning, effort estimation, and scheduling for project deliverables.
Ensure timely delivery of milestones, risk mitigation, and stakeholder communication throughout the lifecycle.
Apply agile methodologies to manage sprints, track progress, and drive iterative improvements.
Innovation & Optimization
Stay current with industry trends and emerging Io T technologies .
Conduct proof-of-concept (Po C) projects to evaluate new frameworks or services and integrate them into production solutions.
Client & Stakeholder Engagement
Work directly with internal and external stakeholders to align Io T software solutions with business objectives.
Effectively communicate complex technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills (Mandatory)
Proven expertise in AWS Io T backend development and cloud integration : Io T Core, Lambda, Dynamo DB, AWS Greengrass, Serverless Frameworks.
Strong knowledge of Io T protocols: MQTT, Matter .
Experience with large-scale OTA deployments , real-time analytics , and edge computing .
Proficiency in programming languages: Java Script, Type Script, , and Python .
Solid understanding of networking technologies: Wi-Fi and Bluetooth .
Familiarity with Io T security frameworks and compliance standards .
Leadership, Project Management & Communication
Strong team leadership, mentorship, and collaboration skills.
Experience in project planning, effort estimation, and full-cycle delivery .
Proven ability to work cross-functionally and drive decision-making in complex product environments.
Excellent communication and presentation skills for stakeholder engagement.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering , or a related field.
AWS Certifications : Solutions Architect, Io T Specialty (preferred).
Experience with serverless architectures and microservices .
