About the Role

Experience Required: 15+ Years


Immense knowledge in Quality Assurance of CNC machines and its related manufacturing elements.


Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute product quality assurance of CNC machines including VMCs, HMCs, Turning centers.
  • Monitor and drive process quality of manufactured parts including structural elements of machines from suppliers as well as in house production.
  • Lead the team of quality Engineers to ensure defect free incoming material supply as well as towards zero customer complaints on product quality.
  • Responsible for supplier evaluation and development including periodic audits, technical involvement in problem solving and betterment of supplier rating.
  • Monitor customer complaints, conduct root cause analysis with system tools, ensure corrective action to avoid repetition of issues.
  • Lead the team for quality assurance of new developments including castings, machined parts, accessories and final products.
  • Validation of new implementations and approval for release together with Engineering and Assembly team.
  • Guide the team for Quality planning, inspection planning and Standard Operating Procedures in Quality Assurance department.
  • Lead and guide the team for Quality Management System (QMS) maintenance and its continual improvement.
  • Coordinate with Cross Functional Team for Quality Review meetings on supplier quality as well as product quality.
  • Monitor the quality performance and periodically report to management (MIS reporting).
  • Planning and execution of Quality Assurance activities including regular inspections to ensure on time feeding of right quality products to assembly line as well as customer end.
  • Motivate and guide the team to ensure departmental objectives set by management are met on time.
  • Maintain Skill matrix of team members and ensure effective training to improve the skill rating.
  • Monitor and ensure the implemented systems are followed and continual improvement of existing system for betterment in product quality.
