As a Design Lead, you will play a key role in leading a team, managing projects, and collaborating with global stakeholders to drive impactful design solutions.

Job Description:

  • As a seasoned professional, your experience spans various domains of experience design, making you adept at understanding quality work and guiding teams through ambiguity. You’re well-versed in working with global teams and US-based clients, bringing exceptional communication skills to all areas of your work. You’re passionate about fostering an inclusive team culture, where you’ll build community, collaboration, and loyalty — all while keeping creativity (and fun) at the core.


What You’ll Do

Roles + Responsibilities

  • Deep domain expertise in HCD and UX disciplines (Research, Sketching, Personas, Journeys, Information Architecture, User flows, Wireframing, Design, and Content)
  • Superior understanding of core visual design skills (color theory, typography, information hierarchy, branding, data visualization) and strong knowledge across XD functions (Content, CX Strategy).
  • In-depth knowledge of Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, presentation design, Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Teams), and web-based tools (i.e. Frontify, Framer)
  • Lead a team of 6-8 creative professionals.
  • Understand how to foster an inclusive hybrid work environment, collaborating online and in-person, with a multidisciplinary team that values diverse perspectives and expertise
  • Provide day-to-day leadership to the Bangalore studio, fostering collaboration, empowering in-person experiences, focusing on retainment, providing critical feedback, and performing the administrative tasks required of a lead role
  • Set the example of proactive problem-solving, meeting challenges with solutions, and encouraging similar accountability within the team
  • Experience leading, managing, and growing a loyal, global creative team — with high retainment, excellent work quality, and low attrition.
  • Understanding of how to support the delivery of experience and projects that meet business goals and project requirements
  • Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences, non-creatives, and varying levels of the organization.
