Open Position-Mainframe DB2 System Admin/System Programmer Experience-7-15 Years Location-Bangalore or Chennai or Pune or Hyderabad Primary Skills: • Have 7+ years of experience of installing and/or customizing software products Mainframe DB2 and/or data replication product suite • Experience working with large systems in data sharing Sys Plex environment • Able to work both as individual and as a team member with other subject matter experts and infrastructure DBAs • A high level of personal initiative is a must to help us improve and optimize the solutions Secondary Skills: • Preferred experience with IDAA, IDAA Bulk Loader, and CDC Replication • Experience with design, configuration and support services to production and development departments running critical and 24*7 applications Job Description: • Perform mainframe database software upgrades coupled with administration and tuning to support DB2 environments • Establishment of policies and procedures pertaining to database management, Disaster recovery, security, maintenance and utilization • Analyzing new versions of DB2 for functionality that can improve systems performance and reduce cost • Perform performance data collection, analysis, and tuning of DB2 systems • Participate in incident and problem management activities related to application and DB2• Collaborate with other team members within same Information Technology (IT) departments, functional users and vendors to provide guidance and manage project implementation • Provide 24*7 on-call support Mainframe Infrastructure • Develop and maintains operational documentation, best practices, and run books for the operational platform • Implement tools and procedures required to maintain a very stable environment Interested candidates kindly share their cvs to me at to discuss further.
