We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Developer with a strong foundation in providing support and backend development. As a key contributor in our dynamic, evolving environment, you will impact the digital experience of millions globally. This role requires a self-driven, data-focused professional who can develop innovative technical solutions to complex problems, elevating the customer experience through exceptional support and seamless operations.


Job Title: Java Backend Developer

Location: Remote

Employment Type: Full-Time

Experience Range: 3-6 Years

Work Hours: 8 PM to 6 AM IST

Weekly Off: Any 2 days between Monday to Friday (Saturday and Sunday required)


Key Responsibilities


  • Contribute as both a team player and an individual contributor on assigned projects.
  • Formulate, design, and develop software solutions based on business requirements and the application roadmap, in alignment with architectural direction and standards.
  • Ensure solutions are performant, scalable, resilient, and align with appropriate recoverability patterns.
  • Support the Scrum Master/Product Owner in managing customer expectations for deliverables, stakeholder communications, and establishing an effective project governance system.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers, Business Analysts, QA, and cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues.
  • Work closely with the business team to understand business requirements and translate them into functional requirements (user stories).
  • Validate user stories to confirm they meet overall business requirements.


Required Skills


  • Minimum 3 years as a Backend Developer.
  • Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
  • Strong understanding and practical expertise.
  • Experience with Relational and Non-Relational Databases, including MongoDB and MySQL.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Jenkins, Sonar, GIT, and JIRA.
  • Experience developing JSON, SCP, Connect Direct, and Message Queues.
  • Ability to handle complexity and ambiguity and use it to their advantage.


Good to Have


  • Background in banking or financial services.
  • Knowledge of Camunda BPM for process automation.
  • Experience in DevOps practices and tools.
