Project Manager – Payments


Our Team

We work for one of the largest multi-national banks (Client) with presence across the globe. We work on payments domain and is one of the industry leading solutions for the Client. We are responsible for migrating the bank’s legacy applications to a new regionalized.

Looking for a seasoned project manager who would be responsible for:

Actively contributes to strategic planning and ensures plans will deliver project on time, quality, and budget.

Define and documenting project scope and resource requirements.

Defining and managing priorities against the available capacity of team members

Negotiating with internal and external stakeholders

Creating a collaborative, innovative and efficient working culture

Optimizing current processes and team productivity by implementing innovative ideas.

Supervising project documentation

Taking responsibility for project milestone delivery

Responsible of handing over the project to the Production support after go-live.

Represent in change control management for the deliverables.

Controlling the scope creep throughout the project life cycle.

Enforce all application teams to follow the bank Regulatory & bank SDLC guidelines.


Your Opportunity

You will be responsible for applying your extensive hands-on project management towards project execution to successful system implementation, managing the project team (onshore and offshore), collaborating with different stakeholders at all level, and managing deliverables to meet the program and project objective.


Your Qualifications

Any Computer Science based graduation

8+ years in project management

A PMP or equivalent project management certification and has excellent knowledge of working in both waterfall and agile environment. Agile scrum master certification is a plus.

Solid familiarity with project management software tools; project management techniques; service management & development lifecycle.

Deep business domain and technical experience in payment platform and solutions is a must.

Good understanding of ASIA/APAC Local Schemes, ISO standards, SWIFT, etc.

Experience with implementing large scale projects and programmes across multiple geographies

Experience in system/software development, prior experience in coding will be advantageous.

Team management experience with IT delivery teams

Excellent communicator and stakeholder management

Superior attention to track details, the ability to think analytically and independently and articulate facts quantitively.

Experience in Project Reporting to both Project Teams, and senior Organisation Stakeholders

Experience in managing project team members and vendors.

Experience in Presenting of Project Status to Top Management and Senior Executives

Experience in Corporate Banking project management and system implementation

Strong communication skills (oral & written) as well as solid presentation skills in a variety of formats and with a variety of audiences. A positive attitude and a go-getter drive.

Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a detail oriented and data driven approach.

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to demonstrate productive collaboration on a global level and across varying departments.

Ability to negotiate priorities across global organizations and deliver across multiple projects as required. Ability to plan and prioritize multiple tasks effectively demonstrating impeccable time management and multi-tasking skills.

Self-motivated and self-sufficient who is a creative thinker and can analyse and compile large swaths of data and present effective trends and outcomes, able to provide guidance, and motivation to the team members.


Your Responsibilities

As an integral part of the delivery team you will be responsible for the following –

Filtration criteria:

Overall experience of 15 Years

8+ years on project management

Experience in managing large payments transformation projects

Good understanding of ASIA/APAC Local Schemes, ISO standards, SWIFT, etc.
