Business Analyst – Payments
Our TeamWe work for one of the largest multi-national banks (Client) with presence across the globe. We work on payments domain and is one of the industry leading solutions for the Client. We are responsible for the enhancements to the existing platform to cater to the growing business needs based on industry trends, either functionally or technically.Looking for a experienced Business Analyst who would be responsible for:Requirements gathering from business representatives.Translating requirements into formal documentsProvide more functional insight into the high-level business requirements.Validation of the functional and non- functional requirements.Understand functional requirements & convert them into architecture & high-level design documents clearly depicting the impact on various systems and associated interfaces.Ensuring that the overall solution is in line with Architecture strategy and standards.Provide functional solutions & suggestions.Communicate with Development team (s) to precisely translate the requirements & review their solutions.Producing high-level and detailed impact assessments to inform estimated effort for work packages.Writing, analysing & reviewing high level test scenariosInvolvement in analysis & investigation of Production defects and Testing issues raised during project life cycle.Ability to walk-through Business Operations team the detailed requirements and the technical design to showcase the solution.Required to encourage best practices in the development of solutions and ensure delivery of qualitative and cost-efficient system solutions.Expected to carry out knowledge sharing and training activities where requiredReview Functional specification for comprehensive business & system requirements.Coordinate and facilitate SIT, UAT during respective phases of the project execution.Review test cases and feedback on themConduct user trainingSuccessful implementation of the business requirements in production.
Your OpportunityYou will be responsible for applying your extensive hands-on BA skills bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions by collaborating with different stakeholders at all level, and drafting, managing & tracking the business requirements to meet the program and project objective.
Your QualificationsAny Computer Science based graduation.8+ years’ experience as business analyst – of which 5+ years into Payment’s domainWorked for large payments modernization programs, Real Time Payments, Domestic & Cross Border payments & payments hub implementation projects.Strong experience on ISO 20022 (PAIN, PACS, CAMT, ADMI), SWIFT formatsWell versed in APAC Payments Schemes - Singapore, Hongkong, South Africa, US, UK, IndiaStrong ability to analyse data and derive actionable insightsFamiliarity with payment processing systems, APIs, and relevant technologies.Strong problem-solving skills to address challenges in payment processes.Understanding of compliance requirements and industry standards.

A positive attitude and a go-getter drive.Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a detail oriented and data driven approach.Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to demonstrate productive collaboration on a global level and across varying departments.Ability to negotiate priorities across global organizations and deliver across multiple projects as required. Ability to plan and prioritize multiple tasks effectively demonstrating impeccable time management and multi-tasking skills.Self-motivated and self-sufficient who is a creative thinker and can analyse and compile large swaths of data and present effective trends and outcomes, able to provide guidance, and motivation to the team members.

Filtration criteria:Overall experience of 15 Years8+ years as Business Analyst5+ Years in Payments domainGood understanding of ASIA/APAC Local Schemes, ISO standards, SWIFT, etc.
