The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer science, have worked on cloud-native technologies, and have a willingness to learn new technologies.Roles and Responsibilities:- Own the implementation of critical components, cloud-native products, and services for our Kubernetes product ecosystem.- Mentor engineers and provide guidance on best practices, code quality, and system architecture.- Contribute your deep technical knowledge to drive innovation and continuously evolve the product architecture.- Collaborate with the team to design and implement the product roadmap.- Support cloud infrastructure deployments using Platform9 products, including troubleshooting and problem resolution.- Continuously monitor and improve the performance, scalability, and reliability of our product line.Preferred Qualifications and Skills:- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.- Experience with programming in Python or Golang.- 9-15 years of experience in a software development role.- Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix systems and network protocols.- Strong and deep knowledge of Storage systems.- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.- Being a highly motivated self-starter with the ability to work in a highly dynamic environment.- Familiarity with Kubernetes and virtualization technologies like Openstack is a plus.To succeed in this role, you’ll need to be a team player with a strong sense of ownership for your work and a passion for working in a data-driven organization.
