Risk Management Analysts


Role Overview

The Risk Management Analysts will play a pivotal role in monitoring and analysing global risks, providing actionable insights, and developing trading strategies for the portfolio. This position requires in-depth market research, timely strategy development, and clear communication with the trading team to optimize portfolio performance.


Key Responsibilities:

Daily Market Monitoring: Analyse global market trends, including commodities, currencies, bonds, and geopolitical developments, to assess risk and identify opportunities.


Data Analysis & Synthesis: Collect and integrate relevant news, data, and reports impacting market movements into actionable insights.


Strategic Development: Formulate trading strategies tailored to daily market dynamics, such as sector-specific recommendations, squaring off positions, or avoiding certain exposures. Strategies must be ready before 8:45 AM to align with market opening.


Communication of Insights: Deliver clear, concise, and timely trade setups and strategic recommendations to dealers and other stakeholders.


Process Optimization: Continuously improve risk management frameworks and strategies to adapt to changing market conditions.


Performance Review: Track the effectiveness of implemented strategies and provide post-trade analysis to refine future recommendations.

Requirements


Education:

-Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field is required

-Advanced degrees or certifications such as CFA or FRM are highly desirable

-NISM-Series-VII: Securities Operations and Risk Management Certification Examination

-NISM-Series-VIII: Equity Derivatives Certification Examination


Experience:

-4-5 years of proven experience in risk management, trading strategy, or financial market analysis.

-Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective trading strategies.


Skills:

-Deep understanding of global financial markets, macroeconomic indicators, and their interplay.

-Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills with a focus on actionable outputs.

-Proficiency in using risk management tools, financial modelling, and market analysis software.

-Excellent communication skills for translating complex data into clear recommendations.

-Ability to work effectively in high-pressure, time-sensitive environments with strict deadlines.

-Familiarity with algorithmic trading and data visualization tools.

-Experience with financial analytics platforms such as Bloomberg or Reuters.
