Essar Constructions India Limited (ECIL) is the Indian arm of Essar Projects, which focusses on India and the Sub-continent. It also has a multidisciplinary skilled and experienced Engineering & PMC division which provides a comprehensive array of value added technical engineering services, in a structured manner, across diverse sectors. It is fully geared to service global clients by providing end-to-end engineering solutions from feasibility studies and scope documents to design conceptualization, FEED, detailed design, PMC, field engineering, commissioning and start-up assistance and also debottlenecking for efficient plant operations.
We are looking for following qualified and experienced professional in Procurement function based out of Mumbai:
Major Responsibilities :
Support Procurement Head to identify, & plan various Procurement strategies.
Plan & strategies activities for Pre & post procurement.
Drive the procurement of the materials in timely manner & available budget
Negotiate, execute and transition procurement deals
Provide strategic oversight and expert guidance to various SBUs/ Functions on efficient procurement.
Set up operations, processes and systems for effective & efficient operation. (e-procurement etc. )
Vendor identification, Vendor development, Management for timely procurement & supply. Develop appropriate system for vendor evaluation. Ensure the vendor contract management.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with the stakeholders & customers involved
Ensure compliance with relevant government/ customs/ statutory regulations and directives for timely material clearance & logistics;
Procurement MIS reports
Qualification :
BE – Mechanical / Civil / Electrical from a reputed college.
Experience :
· Min. 10 to 15 years of work experience in handling bulk procurement in the field of Steel and Oil & Gas sector. Having sound understanding of terms of EPC procurement contracts.
· Experience in SAP MM Module shall be preferred.
