About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager with a strong foundation in computer science and a proven track record in software development project oversight. The ideal candidate will excel at translating technical concepts into clear, concise documentation, guiding cross-functional teams, and ensuring seamless communication with both internal stakeholders and US-based clients. Your ability to bridge the gap between technical details and business objectives, combined with exceptional leadership and communication skills, will be key to delivering high-quality, on-time results.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Planning and Execution
• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
• Manage project execution to ensure timely delivery within scope and budget.
2. Team Leadership and Coordination
• Lead cross-functional teams comprising developers, designers, testers, and other stakeholders.
• Foster a collaborative and results-driven team culture.
• Delegate tasks effectively and monitor team performance.
3. Stakeholder Management
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project progress.
• Gather and incorporate client feedback to align deliverables with expectations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
4. Risk and Quality Management
• Identify and mitigate project risks proactively.
• Ensure deliverables meet the required quality standards and align with business objectives.
• Conduct post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and recommend improvements.
5. Communication and Reporting
• Provide detailed progress reports to stakeholders and senior management.
• Facilitate team meetings, retrospectives, and feedback sessions to ensure alignment.
• Maintain transparency in all project communications.
6. Resource and Budget Management
• Optimize resource allocation to maximize efficiency.
• Monitor and manage project budgets to avoid overruns.
• Negotiate contracts with vendors or third-party providers as needed.
Qualifications and Skills
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Master’s degree (e.g., MBA) is a plus.
Certifications:
• Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Scrum Master (CSM), or PRINCE2 certifications are preferred.
Experience:
• 4–6 years of proven experience in project management, preferably in software development or IT services.
• Experience with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project management methodologies.
• Familiarity with project management tools like Jira, Trello, Asana, or Microsoft Project.
Technical Skills:
• Strong understanding of software development processes and lifecycles.
• Proficiency in project budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.
Soft Skills:
• Exceptional leadership and team management abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse stakeholders.
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to make decisions under pressure.
