Volunteer chief technology officer

We are in the final stages of launching our MVP and are beginning to acquire funding, making this the most exciting time to join and play a pivotal role in shaping our company’s technological foundation
Responsibilities
Define and implement the company’s technological vision and strategy.
Stay updated on emerging technologies and evaluate innovative solutions.
Build, lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing technical team.
Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
Oversee the architecture and infrastructure, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
Align technology strategies with business objectives in collaboration with executives.
Manage the software development lifecycle and product roadmap.
Establish and monitor policies for data security, compliance, and ethical AI use.
Drive AI and machine learning adoption across products and services.
Oversee data science projects to extract actionable insights and optimize operations.
Build and manage machine learning models to enhance decision-making and user experiences.
Develop partnerships with technology vendors and external providers.
Represent the company’s technological strategy to stakeholders and investors.
Manage technology budgets, resource allocation, and risk mitigation.
Drive innovation and research initiatives for competitive advantage.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience in senior technology leadership roles, such as CTO or VP of Engineering.
Strong technical expertise in software development, cloud computing, and IT infrastructure.
Hands-on experience with AI, machine learning, and data science frameworks.
Deep understanding of system architecture, scalability, and security best practices.
A proven track record of leading cross-functional tech teams and driving innovation.
Excellent business acumen with the ability to align technology initiatives with strategic goals.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder collaboration.
Experience in budgeting and resource allocation for technical projects.
Knowledge of regulatory compliance and data privacy laws.
