It offers a comprehensive platform that integrates wearable devices and personalized insights to help users monitor and improve their metabolic health.
By combining data from various sources, including activity levels, sleep patterns, and nutrition, the platform provides tailored recommendations to enhance overall well-being.
The Role: The Supply Chain Head will lead the end-to-end supply chain operations of a rapidly growing health tech company specializing in manufacturing and exporting health products (including health tracking rings) globally from India.
This role requires a strategic leader with deep experience in supply chain management, global logistics, and production planning.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring an efficient, cost-effective, and scalable supply chain operation, while mitigating risks and maintaining compliance with both local and international standards.
Our client, currently has one manufacturing facility in Bangalore and is setting up a second one in the US.
Key Responsibilities: 1.
Strategic Planning & Execution: • Supply Chain Strategy: Lead the development and execution of the company’s global supply chain strategy, including demand forecasting, procurement, production planning, and inventory management.
• Operational Excellence: Ensure operational efficiency by implementing best practices and leveraging advanced supply chain technologies.
• Scalability: Establish and scale supply chain operations to meet global demand and expansion plans.
This includes forecasting and preparing for new market entries, especially in regions like the US, Europe, and Asia.

Supplier Relationship Management: • Supplier Partnerships: Identify, develop, and maintain long-term partnerships with key suppliers to ensure the highest quality and most cost-effective materials.
• Negotiation: Lead negotiations with suppliers for optimal pricing, quality, and delivery terms.
Strive to build long-term relationships based on mutual benefit.
• Performance Management: Implement a robust supplier evaluation and performance management system, ensuring continuous improvement in supplier performance and quality.

Raw Material Inventory Management & Demand Forecasting: • Inventory Optimization: Oversee inventory management to ensure optimal stock levels of raw materials, balancing the need to avoid stockouts with minimizing excess inventory.
• Demand Forecasting: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to create accurate demand forecasts and ensure production schedules align with market needs.
• Material Availability: Ensure the uninterrupted availability of key components and materials for manufacturing, reducing any bottlenecks.

Process Improvement & Innovation: • Continuous Improvement: Implement process improvements using lean methodologies and advanced technologies like automation and predictive analytics to enhance supply chain efficiency.
• Sustainability Initiatives: Integrate sustainability practices into the supply chain, focusing on reducing carbon footprints, optimizing energy usage, and ensuring eco-friendly packaging solutions.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: • Interdepartmental Coordination: Collaborate with other departments, including R&D, manufacturing, sales, and finance, to align supply chain activities with broader business goals.
• Product Launches: Work closely with the product team to ensure that the supply chain is ready to support new product launches and market expansions seamlessly.

Team Leadership & Development: • Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing supply chain team.
• Culture of Excellence: Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and operational excellence within the supply chain team.
• Training & Development: Identify training needs and provide ongoing development opportunities to ensure that team members are equipped with the latest tools and methodologies.
8.
Compliance & Risk Management: • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all local, national, and international regulations, including trade laws, import/export restrictions, and environmental standards.
• Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify and address potential supply chain risks, including geopolitical risks, natural disasters, and supplier disruptions.
Develop contingency plans to safeguard business continuity.
9.
Cost Management & Optimization: • Cost Reduction Initiatives: Identify cost-saving opportunities across the supply chain, including logistics optimization, inventory reduction strategies, and supplier negotiations.
• Budget Oversight: Manage the supply chain budget, ensuring all expenditures align with the company’s financial goals while maintaining service quality and operational effectiveness.
