Company Overview: SmartED Innovations is an ed-tech company helping learners upskill across domains such as Web Development, AI/ML, Data Science, Cloud, Cybersecurity, Digital Marketing, Life Sciences & Management. We’re looking to bring in a self-motivated intern to join our inside sales team, engage with prospective clients, build relationships, and drive revenue growth. Conduct outreach to prospective clients through phone calls and emails to generate leads and schedule meetings. Work with existing clients and leads to nurture relationships and identify upsell or cross-sell opportunities. Collaborate with the sales & marketing team to discover new business opportunities, segments and outreach strategies. Handle and maintain CRM records: log interactions, update pipeline status, manage follow-ups. Meet or exceed defined sales/internship targets for lead generation, conversion or outreach activity. Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activity and market dynamics to inform outreach tactics. product, operations) to ensure smooth client experience – retention, satisfaction. Support any ad-hoc sales operations tasks: research, data-cleaning of leads, preparing decks or reports as required. Currently pursuing or recently graduated in any discipline (preferably Business, Marketing, Communications) – freshers encouraged. Strong spoken and written English communication skills (tele-phonic, email). Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, self-driven, with a “hunter” mindset. Familiarity with or willingness to learn CRM tools, lead management, sales operations. Able to work from office in Bengaluru, HSR Layout (or the designated location). Prior sales experience is a plus but not mandatory . Hands-on experience in a growing ed-tech firm, with exposure to real sales operations. Mentorship from sales & business development professionals.
