As an FEE-II in Advertising Billing aka Iron Mountain Team, you will be responsible for driving the team's long-term vision and architecture, drive/shape roadmaps, and provide technical leadership to the engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building web applications using current technologies such as HTML5, JavaScript and CSS and web-UI frameworks like jQuery, React, Flux etc. In addition to strong technical knowledge, you will be someone who thrives in a fast paced environment, and is passionate about solving ambiguous, challenging problems that have not been solved before. Front End Engineers will be responsible for design, development, delivery and support of large-scale, multi-tiered, distributed software applications. The Iron Mountain platform is an enabler for Advertising's worldwide rapid growth and offers a singular platform to manage all of the advertiser facing functions like billing, invoicing, accounting automation, budgets, promotions, payments, and Billing Advertiser Experience(AX) in real-time while being transparent and audit-able from the ground-up. As a part of this high-energy, entrepreneurial team you will get an opportunity to innovate on solutions that control the very levers of our advertisers' experience and have the satisfaction of seeing your work impacting multiple advertising business and bring in multi-million transactions worth 100x in dollar value on a daily basis. This platform owns these mandates for worldwide advertising displayed On or Off Amazon.
Key job responsibilities
1. Drive Frontend Development: Drive the design, implementation, and optimization of responsive and accessible user interfaces using modern frontend frameworks and libraries.
2. Establish Frontend Architecture: Drive the development of reusable and modular UI components, adhering to best practices and design systems.
3. Performance and Quality Excellence: Ensure optimal performance by implementing efficient rendering techniques, code splitting, and other performance optimizations for speed, scalability and cross-browser compatibility. Contribute to establishing and maintaining high-quality standards for the frontend codebase through testing, code reviews, and best practices.
4. Collaboration: Collaborate closely with designers, backend engineers, and product teams to understand requirements and translate them into seamless user experiences.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2+ years of non-internship professional front end, web or mobile software development using JavaScript, HTML and CSS experience
- 1+ years of computer science fundamentals (object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving and complexity analysis) experience
- Experience using JavaScript frameworks such as angular and react
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 1+ years of agile software development methodology experience
- Experience with common front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JS, TypeScript, and Node
