Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Cloud Engineer / Cloud Developer at Krutrim located in Bengaluru. The role will involve tasks such as software development, infrastructure maintenance, cloud computing optimization, Linux system management, and database administration.

Responsibilities:

  • Set up and maintain cloud infrastructure and services on Krutrim Cloud for clients.
  • Ensure systems are secure, scalable, and highly available.
  • Automate deployment processes using tools like SDKs, APIs, and Terraform.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices to streamline operations.
  • Optimize infrastructure configurations to enhance performance and cost efficiency.
  • Monitor system performance and make adjustments as needed.
  • Provide support for scaling applications and services in response to client needs.
  • Collaborate with support teams to resolve issues promptly.
  • Identify and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure and services.
  • Conduct root cause analysis to prevent future incidents.
  • Work closely with development teams to integrate cloud solutions effectively.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on cloud-related implementations.

Must-Have Skills:

  • 3-5 years of experience in developing cloud solutions
  • Skilled in using SDKs, APIs, and tools like Terraform for automation.
  • Proficient in scripting languages such as Python and Bash for automation tasks.
  • DevOps Practices: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code methodologies.
  • Cloud Infrastructure Management: Ability to effectively manage, monitor, and optimize cloud resources.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical abilities to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.

Good-to-Have Skills:

  • Exposure to OpenStack and AWS: Familiarity with OpenStack and Amazon Web Services to enhance multi-cloud strategies.
  • Multi-Cloud Knowledge: Understanding of other Cloud Service Providers (CSPs) like Azure and GCP.
  • Containerization Experience: Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or other container technologies.
  • Agile Methodologies: Experience working within Agile development environments.
  • Networking and Security: Knowledge of cloud networking concepts and security best practices.
